My love for motorcycles began at the age of seven, when a neighbor took me for a ride on his Harley; I knew then that I had a passion for riding. I purchased my first bike at age 18, it was a 1972 Honda 350. Friends taught me how to ride, at that time there were not any formal programs or even specific motorcycle licenses. Since then I have been riding on and off for 31 years and have purchased 3 more motorcycles, my current bike being a 2002 Yamaha V-Star Silverade, which I love. My bike has been nicknamed, "Ruby" by a member of the club, due to her Raspberry and black colors.I love to ride, and getting out on the road with my friends, I feel all of my stressors disappear as the miles pass. The NJ Renegades is the first group I have joined, and it has been one of my best decisions. This group of women support, teach, and help one another immensely, and are a great source of information on safe riding and motorcycles. They participate in charities, and support the furtherment of female riders. If you love to ride without complications, laugh and have a good time;I would recommend considering joining.
