Emerald Point Ride
On Sunday, June 3rd, the Renegades met at our regular starting point (Dunkin’ Donuts) for a quick local ride, since the weather was threatening with an impending storm. As usual, Lisa guided us through some great scenic roads around Ringwood Reservoir and into Greenwood Lake, NY to Emerald Point Restaurant, a local lakeside eatery where many bikers come to enjoy the view and the great food. We were waited on once again by someone we now deem as “our waitress” (Mary Ellen?).
Afterwards we saddled up and headed out to Take-A-Break Ice Cream Dairy in Tuxedo, NY for two of our favorite pastimes - ICE CREAM AND LAUGHS!
We then headed over to the Long Pond Ironworks where we thought we could enjoy the Revolutionary War reenactment scheduled for that day, but unfortunately we were too late and decided to wrap things up and head on home, just in the nick to time as the rain started to fall once we hit Route 23.
